VS (1989 Original Scent) Fragrance Update: The fragrance has a musk note that balances out the patchouli and sandalwood. A customer notes that she can't tolerate musk. Without the musk the patchouli and sandalwood creates a fragrance a scent like petitgrain and it remained prominent throughout the drydown process. So if you can't tolerate musk, heads up, there is a very small amount in this blend and discerning noses will be able to detect it. 

This fragrance is very hard to describe but those who wore the original know what the true meaning of this statement. Once described as "lingerie in bottle" it is like no other and is one of the most lavish blends I offer. The original has been discontinued but I have tried my best to capture it true essence in this blend. I only wish I knew where that professor was so that I could see if it measured up. I think it will and I hope you will too.
